The American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (AMCHAM Myanmar) is a chapter under AMCHAM Thailand and was established on October 31, 2013.
To date, more than 170 companies employing over 6,000 Myanmar nationals have joined the Chapter. The French Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a business network of more than 100 French, Myanmar and International companies. Its objective is to expand and develop business and economic relationships between France and Myanmar by offering various activities to its members and by supporting the commercial endeavours of French Companies in Myanmar and Myanmar Companies in France.
CCI France Myanmar is a non-profit organization created on the basis of the French Business Association in Myanmar established on March 14, 1996. The Chamber became in June 2013 one of the 112 French Chambers based overseas. It also works closely with the other Chamber of Commerce and Industry in France and abroad, and the foreign Chambers of Commerce in Myanmar. Moreover, the Chamber collaborates with other trade-related French institutions such as the French Embassy’s Economic Department, Business France or the French Foreign Trade Advisors (“CCE”).
Established in early 2014, the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Myanmar is part of the AHK network and supports German companies with a range of tailor-made services. The Delegation works on inquiries regarding exports, investment, sourcing and project activities. It closely co-operates with local institutions, especially the UMFCCI (Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and fosters contacts with Myanmar companies. The East Asia Business Council (EABC) was inaugurated in April 2004 in Kuala Lumpur, as a result of the recommendations from the East Asia Study Group conducted by the ASEAN+3 governments. The EABC comprises three business leaders from each ASEAN member countries, Japan, China and Republic of Korea, appointed by the respective Economic Ministers. The Council submits its recommendations for the consideration of AEM+3 Consultations through the SEOM+3 Consultations, if necessary.
The European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar – EuroCham – serves as the voice of European business in Myanmar. Its main mission is to advocate member interests with organisations in Myanmar, the ASEAN region and the EU.
Founded in May 2015, the German Myanmar Business Chamber (GMBC) is the official membership organization of German businesses and a platform for bilateral exchange and co-operation. The GMBC is the voice of German business in Myanmar and Myanmar companies with business activities and interest in Germany.
