And given the recent decision by the United States Business Roundtable to expand the primary concern for corporations beyond simply increasing value for shareholders, it appears many companies are paying attention. But impact investing as a definitional term leaves much to be desired, and there is much more to unpack beyond “making the world a better place.” In this panel, we’ll take a deeper dive into impact investing, talk to some top investors about how they’re defining the term for themselves and their clients and peek around the corner to see how some of the latest trends might play out over the near- to long-term.
