Biography
As from February 2015, Taxiarchis has been the CEO of BELRON® UK, t/a Autoglass®, the leading business in the Vehicle Glass Repair & Replacement in the UK that offers body repair services as well. He led the business in a period of transformation, setting up a model of branchless/fully mobile service, with modern supply chain and advanced digital solutions. Since joining the UK business Taxiarchis focused on people engagement and building successful teams, having the excellent customer/business partner experience, product leadership, and innovation as key priorities. The combination of those factors led to continuously improving financial performance.
Prior to moving to the UK, Taxiarchis was the Chief Executive Officer of CARGLASS® Greece, i.e. the Greek Business Unit of BELRON® International. During this period, he has led the organization to over triple in all dimensions (Sales, profit, network, and market share).
Before joining CARGLASS®, Taxiarchis undertook critical roles, for almost 10 years, in the Petroleum Industry, and particularly in SHELL Greece, and TEXACO Greece, mainly in their retail functions (Account Management, Project Management, Marketing, Pricing).
He holds a BSc in Marine Engineering, and an MSc (Eng) in Manufacturing Engineering & Management from the University of Birmingham, England. Moreover, he has a Business Studies Diploma from ALBA Business School.

What defines a successful leader?
A successful leader is someone who is approachable, shows resilience, has great listening skills, shows clarity in direction and driving performance, and is keen on self-development.
Culture and talent are important to any company’s success. How do you engage and inspire your workforce?
I engage with my team by running webinars and videocasts regularly. We understand the importance of talent to our organization so we make it our duty to have personal involvement in the induction of new colleagues.
Challenges abound in today’s fast-changing business environment. What keeps you up at night?
Uberisation is something that I believe is top of mind for CEOs in all industries by mainly in the service industry.

Even CEOs need downtime. How do you recharge?
I recharge by spending time traveling to Greece and other places with my friends and family.
