The Future Investor: Finding the Opportunities
A new federal administration is always a time of heightened uncertainty as markets wait for direction on policies and their impact on the economy. The volatility can be unnerving, and investors may be tempted to time the market or get ahead of anticipated market moving actions. But 2025 has a lot more going on than post-election uncertainty. Geopolitical unrest persists worldwide, the effects of climate change are beginning to be accounted for, and inflation remains a harsh reality.
How can investors achieve their objectives while contending with persistent volatility and uncertainty? The fundamentals still apply. If anything, now is the time to remember the basics. Focus on the long term – stay invested.
Despite the strong headwinds of uncertainty from various sources, consumer spending remains strong, and businesses are still spending on innovation. The U.S. economy continues to grow, providing opportunities for companies and returns for investors.
Where are these opportunities? The business executives and investors gathered for this event will share their views of the economic landscape. We will hear from companies on how they are investing in their businesses to create efficiencies, innovate their products and services, and improve the customer experience. Investors will share the sectors, products and services that they find exciting, and in which they are investing.
