The 2018 agenda will feature an illuminating series of one-on-one fireside chats, including extended audience engagement after every interview. The morning will include candid discussions with Tim Sloan, CEO of Wells Fargo, about drawing on the power of the past while looking forward; and Patty McCord, the first Chief Talent Officer for Netflix and the author of Powerful: Building a Culture of Freedom and Responsibility, on how to build the company you’ve always dreamed of working for.
We’ll also feature a choice of workshops curated by noted strategist and consultant Mark Bonchek of Shift Thinking, tackling some of the key paradoxes facing every CEO today and led by some of the country’s top leadership and innovation thinkers.
The afternoon will feature discussions with Ursula Burns, former Chair and CEO of Xerox, current Chairwoman of the Board for VEON, and current board director for Uber, Nestle Global, and Diageo, on the importance of building healthy board relationships; and Jim Fowler, the Global Chief Information Officer for GE, whose career has been built on helping companies drive growth, deliver productivity and inspire innovation.
After a second round of workshops, we’ll bring the Breakaway members together for a forum facilitated by Mark Bonchek to tap into the collective wisdom of the community. We will conclude by sharing opportunities for ongoing connection and learning on the themes advanced and identified at the Summit.
